Draft — have a lawyer review before launch.

What we collect

  • Google account basics — your name, email, and profile picture, so you can sign in and we can show who you are.
  • Google OAuth tokens — stored encrypted at rest so a tool can act on your behalf (for example, pull a file you pick from Google Drive). We only touch files you explicitly choose.
  • What you create in parcosts — schedules, sheets, pages, and documents. Documents are encrypted at rest.
  • Basic operational logs — sign-in events and errors, to keep the service running and secure.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data. We don't read your Google Drive beyond the specific files you hand to a tool. We ask for the narrowest Google permissions we can.

Document viewing analytics

When someone opens a document shared through parcosts Rooms, we record the viewer's email (if the link requires one), IP address, browser, and page-by-page reading activity, and we share that with the document's owner — that's the product. Viewers see a notice saying so before they open the document.

Third parties

We rely on infrastructure providers (hosting, database, and — for tips later — a payment processor) to run parcosts. They process data on our behalf under their own terms.

Deleting your data

You can disconnect Google and request deletion of your account and its contents. Because this is young software, keep your own copies of anything important.
